Hilton Rebrands The Burlington Hotel in Dublin
Hilton announced rebranding of one of the most famous hotels in Dublin – The Burlington that was established 41 years ago. The internationally famous hotel company will use the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, and so the new hotel’s name is DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin – Burlington Road. In order to supply the hotel with everything needed to fit the status of the upscale brand, Hilton has made an investment and renovation works are already in the process. The hotel is to be completely renovated by spring 2014. At that time it will have all distinguishing features of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, such as complimentary freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at check-in. By the way, this is not the first DoubleTree hotel in the city. Hilton successfully runs DoubleTree by Hilton hotel on Ormond Quay.
This hotel is known not only because of its location, but also thanks to its size – this is the largest hotel in the area with a huge 2,100 sq. m. banquet and ballroom hall that can accommodate up to 1,400 delegates. After renovation, the hotel will get 18 modern conference spaces that can also serve as meeting rooms. Each of such rooms will be able to facilitate up to 100 visitors. This will certainly strengthen positions of the hotel as the best place for events and conferences in the city.
501 guestrooms of the hotel will also be renewed and will be supplied by 42” flat screen TVs, exclusive bath products, in-room coffee and tea, and Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree. Dining facilities will be completely changed. The hotel will get the brand new Sussex restaurant with spacious dining area. This restaurant will be used to serve Wake up DoubleTree Breakfast. It is reported that as many local products as possible will be used in food making in the hotel. In future, Hilton also wants to turn Mespil Bar into an executive lounge, and iconic Bellini’s Bar will change its name to B Bar.
Visitors of the hotel will be able to gain and redeem Hilton HHonors points in the hotel just like in 4,000 hotels worldwide.
