New Design of JW Marriott Hotel in Cannes

JW Marriott Cannes has changed the look of its public areas that are now even more glamorous. Thanks to the design developed by JOI-Design, visitors of the hotel will feel like they’re in a movie.

The existing design of the hotel was made in the 80s of the previous century. The design’s clean lines and neutral colours look fresh even decades after their creation. The hotel’s interior was the main inspiration for the design team, who chose various shades of mahogany and grey, black and ivory mixed with some splashes of champagne and gold. Only expensive materials were used in the renovation – velvet, silk, Carrara marble, leather, and Macassar Ebony.

Guests of the beautiful hotel in Cannes will be stunned right from the entrance that is decorated with a canopy with palm fronds and a stone staircase decorated with sepia and grey marble that makes its look like it has a carpet. The hotel’s lobby has five stores and is decorated with tall vertical columns and light sculptured leaf pattern in gold. Mirrored ceiling and marble floor only add to luxurious aesthetic of the place. Guests are welcome to sit in a special area with tall wingback chairs, sofas and club chairs.

The bar’s finish is made in Macassar Ebony wood. Here guests can enjoy their leisure time in comfortable leather sofas. Other eye-catching elements of the design are glossy champagne tables, black marble floor and walls decorated with rose-gold mesh.

The hotel’s restaurant, JW Grill, has also been remade, and now it looks more modern, but is still very comfortable and cozy.
