This year Rome Cavalieri, a popular hotel in the capital of Italy and a part of the Waldorf Astoria portfolio, celebrates its 50th anniversary. Therefore, all guests of the hotel are offered to participate in special promotions of the company. As the hotel celebrates its gold anniversary, all the promotions are connected with this material in some way.
For example, in June 5 randomly selected guests will check-in and enter their rooms to see that beds have “gift wrapping” they are covered with posh linens with gold embroidery. This means that these guests will be able to live in Penthouse Suite or the Petronius Suite for free. The Penthouse Suite with stunning panoramic views of Rome has become home to a sofa designed by Karl Lagerfeld for his house in Paris and to art by Andy Warhol. The suite is also equipped with a private roof terrace, a gazebo, a small pool and a solarium, and a hydro-massage tub. The second suite, the Petronius, is decorated with antique 19th century French furniture. The suite consists of a dining room for up to 8 guests, a sitting room, and four balconies.
Other special promotions include new treatments in the hotel’s spa. These are special procedures with gold, which has been suspended in the colloidal gel also rich in peptides. There are even more unusual offerings, such as a chance to enjoy shopping and visiting most famous sights of the eternal city together with your personal paparazzo.
Of course, the gold theme couldn’t have failed to touch cuisine in the hotel. The poolside bar has new dishes that fit the concept of “la dolce vita”. In the hotel’s restaurant, guests are welcome to try Il Gelato d’Oro, which is decorated with gold flakes.
