Starwood Announces New Aloft Hotels in Germany

News Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced the opening of two new Aloft-branded hotels – Aloft Stuttgart and Aloft Munich. Both the hotels are yet under development, and are built by their owner - the Schörghuber Corporate Group. Aloft hotels in Munich and Stuttgart are to open in 2015.

Schörghuber Corporate Group is a long-time partner of Starwood. The hotelier hopes that its sensational Aloft brand will become popular in Germany. Currently, there’s a steady demand for stylish and modern hotels that offer many services at affordable rates. This combination is one of the reasons why Aloft has become so popular. The brand has a unique positioning, and is targeted at “the next generation of travellers”. The hotel has become the pioneer of many music and design related initiatives. For example, its signature re:mix lounge and w xyz bar are included in the Top 25 trendiest hotels by TripAdvisor. As Aloft hotels are operating in the midmarket sector, they have become a popular choice for both developers and owners.

Aloft hotel in Munich will be located near the centre of the city. The hotel will feature simple access to cafes, restaurants, retail stores, and other entertainment facilities. It will be also very simple to get to Munich Central Station from the hotel. Aloft Munich will have 184 spacious guestrooms.

The second hotel, Aloft Stuttgart, will be a part of a large mixed-use development. The development will include shopping and retail facilities, entertainment venues, restaurants, office space, and services residences. This hotel will have 165 guestrooms.

Both the hotels will have such signature elements of the Aloft brand as loft-like rooms with oversized windows and very comfortable platform beds, an open lobby, a grad-and-go café, a re:mix lounge and w xyz bar, a re:charge fitness centre, and a re:fuel option with food and drinks available 24/7.
