Hyatt has made its debut in Malaysia by opening a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur features 370 guestrooms and 42 suites.
The hotel’s design is made mostly in mild neutral colours mixed with earth tones. The building also has large floor-to-ceiling windows. Guestrooms are equipped with large liquid crystal glass bathrooms that include a rain shower and a bath. The glass can be made opaque for privacy reasons. The design of Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is developed by Bilkey Llinas Design.
The top floor of the building is a zone where guests can eat and relax. It features a restaurant, a wine bar, and a lounge zone. Thirty8 is the restaurant with high cuisine and show kitchens. The ground floor is the location of another restaurant – JP teres. This is the place where visitors are welcome to try Malaysian dishes. The restaurant features wok stations, tandoor ovens, roti hot plates, and satay grills. There is also a café at the poolside, where guests are welcome to enjoy local and international cuisine. The bar located nearby offers special iced teas, fresh juices, and smoothies.
The hotel is equipped with Essa Spa that has 11 treatment rooms, a fitness centre, a steam room, a sauna, a swimming pool, an ice fountains, a whirlpool, and several areas for relaxation. Business facilities are represented by more than 3,300 sq. m. of event and meeting space.
