Marti Group can celebrate the opening of its first urban property – the company has just launched Marti hotel in Istanbul. The beautiful 11-storey hotel is located in Taksim neighbourhood.
All of 270 guestrooms are open and fully operating. Public spaces are to work in full power next month. The hotel’s design is the result of work of Turkish designer Zeynep Fadillioglu, who has chosen traditional Ottoman style with modern aspects. The hotel’s guestrooms are made in purple and blue shades. The majority of bathrooms are marble and are equipped with a separate rainforest shower. The hotel’s suites feature posh hammam-style bathrooms decorated with mosaics.
The lobby of the hotel is no less stunning – large chandeliers, a winding staircase and an interesting water-themed installation created by Kutlug Ataman. The hotel is also equipped with two restaurants and several bars, which are guided by famous Chef Frédéric Médigue. Guests will find various dining facilities right near the entrance of the hotel. There they will find dishes from French, Turkish and Asian cuisine, as well as grill and rotisserie. Quad Restaurant & Bar features an Ottoman tent and the mezzanine with lounge chairs. Guests are welcome to enjoy beautiful atmosphere of the place while sipping cocktails and having their meal. Other facilities in the hotel are a piano bar, a lobby lounge, and Lounge 11 open for guests of suites only.
The top floor of the building is equipped with a terrace. This is the location of a large 8,600 sq. ft. (799 sq. m.) spa. The spa centre comes with two steam rooms, four hammams, tree saunas, a special “vitamin bar” and an area for relaxation. Business and meeting facilities are represented by 7,400 sq. ft. (687 sq. m.) of event space.
