Daiwik Hotels Pvt. Ltd. has announced its plans concerning the opening of a chain of hotels throughout India. The company is particularly interested in opening hotels in famous pilgrim towns of the country. First two properties of the future chain, hotels in Tirupati and Rameswaram, are about to open in the nearest future. Other properties may be announced soon. Daiwik Hotels plans to open some hotels through acquisitions.
Hotel in Rameswaram may start operating already this month as currently the hotel undergoes a soft pilot run. Hotel in Tirupati will be the company’s flagship property, but it will be ready to accept guests just within 30 months. The hotelier has already invested Ps. 180 crore into this project. Both hotels, which will belong to the four-star category, will feature not only a wide range of services, but also detailed information about temples and rituals.
The company plans to open 20 hotels in total. Five of them will be opened in the south of the country. Daiwik is particularly interested in opening hotels in Madurai, Srisailam, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kanyakumari, and Varanasi, which targets both Buddhists and Hindus.
