Shangri-La Hotels has finally presented their renewed website that boasts a series of new features. As the company states, they were working 10 months in order to make the new website more user-friendly and interesting to visitors. Moreover, now the company has a new #LovingTheMoment Instagram initiative that helps visitors of Shangri-La hotels to show photos of their journeys.
The hotelier wants their guests to be more socially active as this will help other people to find out about Shangri-La hotels in details. The photos added are carefully selected by the company’s staff and are posted to the website. Now every visitor can select a hotel from the Shangri-La network and see photos taken by others. As a rule, photos are divided into several categories, such as facilities, food, services and guestrooms. The new version of the website is optimized for various devices including iPhone, Blackberry and Android phones. Integration with popular social services like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Weibo, Youku and Kaixin is also present. In the end of June the company will also release a new application for owners of iPad and iPhone devices.
Members of Shangri-La’s reward program, Golden Circle, are also recommended to visit the website as they are now provided with extended functionality.
