Legoland hotels are definitely something you will never forget. These artistic accommodations bring their visitors to a true world of Lego building bricks. The hotels by this brand have become very popular among both children and adults, so Legoland Hotels plans to expand in Asia. The first accommodation in the region will be located in Malaysia and will be opened in 2014.
The hotel will be located just next to the theme park dedicated to Lego, which is scheduled for opening already in the end of 2012. This will be the fourth Legoland hotel in the world. The groundwork on the site of the future hotel has already started. The hotelier says this accommodation will be built from more conventional building materials. The creators of the hotel hope they will attract either local or international visitors.
The park and the hotel in Malaysia follow the concept developed in Lego parks Germany, Denmark, Britain, and the US (Florida and California). Guests will be amazed by unusual design and lots of unexpected details, for example, treasure chests full of Lego in guestrooms.
The park will be located on the territory of 31 hectare, and will feature 40 different rides. Over 30 million Lego bricks will be used in the park and hotel. Currently there are only two Legoland hotels in the world. The first one works in Denmark (Lego’s motherland), and the second hotel has recently been opened in Britain. The third Legoland hotel in California will be opened next year.
