One of the most luxurious hotels in the capital of Czech Republic, Four Seasons Hotel in Prague, may come on the market in the nearest future. The owner of the hotel is told to test current situation for sale of this property. The famous accommodation, which has hosted such famous people as Sean Connery, Madonna or Russia’s president Dmitry Medvedev, can be sold already this year.
The owners of the iconic hotel may sell Four Seasons Prague for 80 million Euros. The negotiations may be conducted anonymously as both parties are not interested in publicity. Currently the hotel is owned by the Irish company Avestus Capital Partners, which is involved in asset management. The company already sold another luxury property – Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in Budapest – in the end of the previous year. The sum of the deal estimated 75 million Euros.
Unofficial sources say the possible sale of the famous hotel has attracted much attention. The hotel is definitely a good investment because of its wonderful location on the bank of the Vltava River close to Charles Bridge and its excellent reputation. The hotel in Prague is considered one of the best hotels of the city, so there will always be demand for guestrooms in it.
Currently the hotel is passing through the final stage of an extensive five year long renovation. All rooms and suites of the hotel have been remade. Earlier this year was opened the hotel’s restaurant CottoCrudo, causing much attention. Even if the property changes its owner, there will be no changes in its work as Four Season manages the hotel in accordance with a long-term contract.
