Swissôtel Opens Its First Hotel in Phuket

News Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in Phuket, an internationally popular tourist destination. The famous hotelier has just been appointed as the manager of the working property – Courtyard by Marriott hotel at Kamala Beach. The rebranded property started working as Swissôtel Resort Phuket in April 2012. The new hotel in Phuket is the third property by the hotelier in Thailand and the first resort by Swissôtel in Southeast Asia.

The hotel is located at picturesque Kamala Beach, which attracts its visitors not only by its natural beauty, but also by convenient access – it takes just 30 minutes to get to the hotel from the Phuket International Airport. Swissôtel Resort Phuket overlooks the Andaman Sea and is located in one of the most fascinating and popular parts of the island. The hotel consists of 180 large suites with one to three bedrooms. Each suite comes with a private balcony where guests can enjoy magnificent looks of the sea, and a separate living room. Guests of the hotel are welcome to use numerous facilities of the resort. The territory of Swissôtel resort Phuket includes a large fitness center, a spa, a swimming pool made in a lagoon style, and even a special club for tourists with children. Meeting facilities are represented by several function rooms, a pre-function area, and a conference room that can accommodate up to 150 people. Visitors of the hotel are offered to participate in excursions or try various water sports on Kamala Beach.

The president of Swissôtel Meinhard Huck has expressed his delight with the deal, telling the company will continue improving its positions in Asia. The hotelier already successfully runs two hotels in Bangkok and plans to add more properties to its portfolio.
