Lebua Hotels & Resorts plans to enhance its presence in India, one of the most rapidly developing markets on the world. The Thailand hotelier will open a hotel in Goa. The 14-guestroom accommodation will greet its first guests in May 2013. This is the second property in India after a hotel in New Delhi. The hotelier also plans to build its third accommodation in the country and is currently in the process of searching for a proper plot of land. Lebua plans to sign the documents regarding this deal next year. By the way, the first hotel in Delhi already works, but a grand opening has not been made yet. It is expected to be organized this September, when the hotel starts working in its full power along with Breeze II and Sirocco II restaurants. Lebua plans to open one of its famous restaurants on Goa as well. Most probably, this will be Sirocco III.
Meanwhile, the restaurant of Lebua hotel in Delhi is already told to be the most expensive restaurant in the world with the cost equal to US$400 per head. What will the guests of the restaurant get for such price? They will be welcome to try the food made by Michelin-starred chefs, and the entertainment program as well as service staff presentations will be developed by a Hollywood producer.
Currently Lebua hotel in Bangkok is considered the flagship property of the hotelier, but this is expected to change once Lebua Delhi starts working as this is the largest hotel of the company worldwide in terms of the number of rooms. All projects by Lebua in India will create 700 new jobs. The company plans to attract either local employees, or international specialists.
