Best Western Expands in Malaysia

News Best Western continues its expanding in Asia and will open new hotels in Malaysia in accordance with its plans. The company, which is also known as the largest hotel chain in the world, already has experience of working in this country as Best Western operates 3 hotels in Malaysia. These are best Western Marina Island hotel in Pangkor, Best Western hotel in Sandakan, and Best Western hotel in Kinabalu Daya.

In 2012 the company plans to follow the strategy of nationwide growth, and so two more hotels will be opened in the country. These are Best Western Premier Dua Sentral hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and Best Western Wana Riverside Hotel in Melaka. This is only the beginning as the hotelier plans to open a series of hotels until 2015. The abovementioned properties will start working already this year, and 6 more hotels in different parts of Malaysia will be opened between 2013 and 2015. According to the plans of the company, Best Westen should have the portfolio of 11 hotels in the country by 2015.

The hotelier’s spokesman has underlined the importance of the country telling that Malaysia becomes a popular tourist destination. In 2011 the country was visited by 24.7 million of visitors. The expected number of tourists per year is 36 million by 2020. Malaysia attracts tourists by cheap airplane flights, rich cultural heritage and unique diversity – tourists will find either pristine beaches or modern cities in that country. Development of Malaysia attracts more tourists, and so Best Western is very optimistic about performance of its hotels in the country.

Best Western Premier Due Sentral hotel in Kuala Lumpur will open already in the second quarter of this year. A large and modern hotel with 364 guestrooms will provide its guests will amazing comfort and nice features like free Wi-Fi, docking stations for iPod, Interactive TV, and LCD panels with DVD players. Located in the center of the business district of the country, the hotel will be a perfect choice for both leisure and business visitors.
