Swiss Hotels Turns Jazz Club Into Spa
Hotel Schweizerhof located in Bern, Switzerland, now offers its guests to enjoy visiting a modern and high quality spa center, the total square of which estimates 500 square meters (5,382 sq ft). The spa is located in the space that previously has housed Jaylin’s jazz club.
The new spa center has all popular and modern treatments that are so popular among visitors. Among them are 5 large treatment rooms, a hammam, a Finnish sauna, whirlpool in a pamper pool, a gym, and various multi-sensory showers. Guests can try various treatments that involve the usage of professional cosmetics. For this purpose the spa center has started collaboration with Sothys Paris brand. You can always purchase the product you’ve liked – the average price of cosmetics ranges from 60 to 290 Swiss francs (US$65-$316).
The inner decoration of the spa center was developed by the London-based design firm MKV Design. The spa features charcoal-grey natural stones, dark oak wood and rough forms that coincide with inner decoration of the hotel’s guestrooms. Wallcovering is metallic textured “Charisma” by Ulf Moritz.
This hotel in Bern is mostly targeted at business clients, but owners hope the new spa center will be popular among visitors as today business visitors also care about their health and beauty during trips.
