Rotana Hotels Management Corp., which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi (the UAE), has announced it will invest as many as 750 million of USD into expansion of its portfolio in the Middle East.
This year the company plans to open 7 new hotels. Among them will be hotels in Jordan, Bahrain, the UAE, and Qatar. These hotels will increase the total number of rooms in the portfolio of the hotelier to 14,000. The company is also very positive when it comes to describing its performance and expects the occupancy to grow by 6% comparing to the previous year.
The company’s CEO and president Selim El Zyr is sure the region will be developing this and forthcoming years despite some problems like political unrest that has prevented some tourists from visiting the Middle East and Africa. Rotana will expand its activities in the region and will keep improving its services in order to gain customers’ satisfaction and loyalty. The hotelier is particularly interested in such destinations as Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan.
