According to an announcement made on previous week, MGM Resorts International will operate new hotels in Mumbai suburbs, India. The hotel, which will be a part of a mixed use development, will be located on 20 acres (8 hectares) of land. Besides the hotel, the development will contain commercial, retail, and entertainment facilities. The name of the complex is Maker Maxity and it is also a part of a great, large-scale Bandra Kurla Complex.
MGM Resorts has signed agreements concerning the operation of one Skylofts hotel, one Bellagio hotel, and one MGM Grand hotel.
As Gamal Aziz, MGM Hospitality’s CEO, states in his comment, they hope to run successful business in this region as close proximity to Bollywood makes this destination more attractive to visitors. Bellagio, Skyloft and MGM Grand hotels perfectly reflect the energy and luxury of this place.
Further details are not available at the moment. The company also doesn’t reveal whether it is going to invest some money into this project. The opening dates for new hotels and details about them are not clearly known as well.
