Shangri-La Asia has revealed the news concerning the opening of a hotel in Jinan – the capital of the Chinese Shandong Province. The hotel, which will have 400 guestrooms, is set for opening in 2015. It will strengthen the positions of the company on the market as this hotel will follow other two accommodations in Shandong – Shangri-La hotel in Qufu and Shangri-La hotel in Quigdao. Both hotels are scheduled for opening in the fourth quarter of 2012.
Located on Luoyuan Street (Lixia District), Shangri-La hotel will feature direct access to all major commercial, political and business centers of the city. Near the building of the hotel are located the government of the province and the International Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will take approximately 45 minutes to take to Shangri-La Jinan from the city’s airport. Guests of this hotel will also have direct access to all major sights and attractions of the city including Daming Lake, Baotu Spring, and Thousand Buddha Mountain.
The interior design will be developed by the Hong Kong-headquartered Wong Tung International. The rooms of the hotel will have different size and range from 45 to 225 square meters. On the territory of the hotel will be several meeting rooms, a large 360 sq. m. lounge zone, and Horizon Club dedicated to various events. Dining facilities will be represented by a Chinese restaurant, an all-day restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and several bars. To the service of guests are Government VIP Room and a Bridal Rooms. Large events and conferences can take place in a Grand Ballroom that is 1,900 sq. m. large.
