Chinese Tourists Prefer Doubling Their Vacations While Keeping the Same Budget

News Hilton has conducted a survey among its Chinese visitors who use Hilton HHonors – the loyalty program developed specially for 10 most popular brands by Hilton.

The survey contained “Would You Rather” questions and engaged participants to choose a preferable answer.

Vast majority of Chinese clients of the company have mentioned the length of the vacation is more important than high-class hotel. Over 70% of respondents say they would sacrifice the class of hotel in favor the length of vacation.

The next question concerned the companion in vacation. Here the majority of clients have told they are ready to pay twice to make a trip with the favorite celebrity, rather than making a free luxurious vacation with boss.

When it came to choosing the preferable location, 71% of Chinese tourists say they want to have a short-distance vacation with family.

Finally, the value of the trip - here the Chinese do not like to save. Over a half of participants have told they never try to save money during vacations and try to bring home more souvenirs and gifts.
