Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of a hotel in New Delhi. The company acts as a managing organization for the 250-key hotel in Noida. The developer of the hotel is The 3C Co., with which the hotelier has an exclusive agreement.
This luxirious 5-star accommodation is planned for opening by 2015. The cost of the project estimates 1.8 billion of rupees (approximately US$41 million). Together with the hotel Four Seasons will open 180 residential apartments intended for long stay. The hotel in New Delhi is the third accommodation by this hotelier in India. At the moment Four Seasons has 2 more hotels under development – a hotel in Mumbai and a hotel in Bangalore.
An interesting point about the agreement with The 3C Co. According to it Four Seasons is prohibited to open any other hotels in the National Capital Region within next 25 years. This concerns both own and managing properties. However, the hotelier doesn’t plan to stop and seeks new opportunities in other regions of India.
