The legendary hotelier Horst Schulze with his Solis Hotels brand is ready to start an expansion in the Middle East. The first property in the region will be a hotel in Doha, Qatar.
The 5-star hotel Solis Doha is scheduled for opening in 2015. The property is owned by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and will be operated by Solis Hotels according to a management agreement. The hotel will be located in Education city, a home to multiple leading universities of the world, and will be a part of Qatar National Convention Center.
The hotel will feature unique design that fits highest sustainability standards and will offer extra-class service. On the territory of the hotel will be also located luxurious accommodations, well-equipped meeting space, a Spa center, 3 top quality restaurants and a recreational area indoors. Among other facilities are a 17,000 sq. ft. large grand ballroom, exhibit space, 6 meeting rooms, 4 boardrooms, and over 17,000 sq. ft. of pre-function and breakout space.
The hotel is targeted to guests who seek the best and personal service. The quality of the service is guaranteed by Schulze, who is widely known as the former president of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co.
Currently Solis Hotels increases its presence globally and the 418-key hotel in Doha is just a beginning of the expansion in the region. According to Schulze, now the company is seeking other opportunities to open upscale accommodations in other popular destinations of the Middle East.
