Hilton has just revealed the news concerning the signing of the agreement with TCC Hotel Group concerning the opening of a hotel in Bangkok under the DoubleTree brand. Another agreement with the same company concerns the rebranding of the existing property into DoubleTree hotel in Thailand.
Both hotels are scheduled for opening in 2012. The properties are located in Sukhumvit area, which is also known as the main entertainment and shopping district of Bangkok.
The Hilton hotel, which will be organized in a new building, is already in the process of creation. The hotel named Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok will have 24 stores and 287 guestrooms. On the territory of the hotel will be also made a lobby, a bar, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, Spa and fitness centers and a 512 sq. m large conference hall.
At the moment Hilton has 5 hotels in Thailand. These are Millenium Hilton in Bangkok, Hilton Resort and Spa in Hua Hin, Hilton hotel in Pattaya, Canrad hotel in Bangkok, and Hilton Arcadia Resort & Spa in Phuket. New hotels in the pipeline include a Conrad hotel in Koh Samui (opens this June) and the two abovementioned hotels scheduled for 2012.
