W Hotels Premiere New Hotel in London

Today W Hotels Worldwide celebrates the opening of its 40th property globally. This time this is the brand new flagship hotel in London located on Leicester Square.

This 10-story accommodation on the corner of Wardour Street and Leicester Square is made of interesting material – the hotel’s translucent glass changes its color on different time of the day and can also change depending on weather and other conditions surrounding it. The property is created by McAleer & Rushe.

W hotel in London has 192 rooms, a restaurant run by a 3-Michelin-starred famous Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and the Spice Market – the first and only one in the UK. On the territory of the hotel are also organized an Away Spa center, a fitness center, a Screening room and a Wyld bar run by Ignite Group. Business facilities include 38 event and meeting rooms.

The accommodation in London will be also the first property under the W brand in the UK. This hotel brand is developing quickly and the company has managed to double the number of W hotels within just 3 years. Currently W Hotels Worldwide tries to open properties in such prime destinations as Milan, Paris or St. Petersburg. The company has also recently opened hotels in Istanbul, Barcelona and Doha.
