Cinnovation CG, a Singapore-based investment company, has concluded the agreement with InVision Hospitality, which specializes on hotel management, concerning the opening of 30 hotels in Asia by 2013.
Cinnovation will be involved into financing while InVision has rich experience of managing hotels of any scale. The new entity is named Zinc InVision Hospitality. The company’s CEO is Kevin Beauvais, who has been previously the former country manager Marriott International in Thailand.
Zinc InVision Hospitality will manage 7 newly created brands. These are Zinc Living, Glow Studios, Touch by Zinc, Zinc City, Zinc Edge, SOMA, and Zinc Journey. All these hotel brands will cover a specific segment and a group of tourists. Among them will be long stay and heritage living hotels (Zinc Living), business segment hotels (Glow Studios), heritage travel hotels (Zinc Journey), value oriented hotels (Zinc City), SPA and wellness centers (Touch by Zinc), and luxury hotels (Zinc Edge).
The majority of properties under these brands will start operating in 2012 and 2013, but Zinc Journey hotels in Sigiriya and Negombo (Sri Lanka) are already opened. The first Zinc City hotel in New Delhi will greet its guests in 2012. A hotel in Cochin and a hotel in Surat (India) will open a bit later. The first SOMA property will become a hotel in Malaysia (2012), and the first Glow Studios property will become in hotel in Bangkok (2013). Deluxe Zince Edge hotel brand will be represented by a property in Dubai.
