Hotels in Poland in the mountain region have recently become a popular place, so there’s no wonder why high class accommodations are opened here faster than in the rest of the country. However, according to a popular Polish portal Puls Biznesu, the growth is slowed down by poor road and ski slope infrastructure. The information is based on the results of the study provided by the local specialists.
According to the report made by the Cushman&Wakefield research group, currently there are 269 hotels in the mountain region of Poland. The majority of them are 2 and 3 star properties – the number of them reaches 215 accommodations. Also there are 25 4-star hotels and only 5 5-star hotels. Also tourists can find rooms in 24 hostels available there.
The biggest number of the hotels is located in Tatra Mountains and Karkonosze; the smallest – in Beskidy and Bieszczady. All luxury hotels are located in popular resorts, such as Zakopane, Szczawnica and Krynica-Zdrój.
