New Missoni hotel in Antalya will be opened in 2013

The Rezidor Hotel Group will expand its presence on Turkish Riviera by opening a hotel in Antalya. This time it will be a luxury hotel Missoni that is developed in collaboration with the famous fashion house.

The official debut of this collaboration started with the opening of a hotel in Edinburg in 2009. Other Missoni hotels are yet in the building process. In 2011 the second Missoni hotel will be opened in Kuwait, then Oman (2012), and Brazil (2012). All hotels will be made in different styles, but each one is designed by Rosita Missoni, the Creative Director of the famous brand and the original co-founder of the label.

Rezidor representatives state they don’t have plans to open wide number of Missoni hotels as, after all, this is a luxury brand. Each destination is carefully selected. For the moment Rezidor has plans to open only resort type hotels.

New Missoni hotel in Belek will be owned by Bekay Property Partners. This will be a 110-guestrooms hotel with 28 villas of different size. On the territory of the resort will be located a sports club, multiple retail shops, two restaurants, a ballroom, a meeting space, a 11,000 sq. ft. spa, a leisure area, 2 swimming pools, a fitness center, Turkish baths, a place for kids, and a golf field (18 holes) designed by Annika Sörenstam. All villas will be made of different sizes from 200 to 9,500 sq. ft., and will be designed in traditional Missoni colors and color schemes.
