Jumeirah Group will launch new brand name for its building hotels in Maldives – Jumeirah Dhevanafushi. The company yet doesn’t have any properties on this island, so the first hotel, Jumeirah Meradhoo, will be the official launch on the island.
Jumeirah Meradhoo is a hotel in Gaafu Alifu Atoll that is located 400 km away from the Maldives capital – Male. This is will be “all-suites” property that starts working in January 2011. The hotel consists of 22 island villas standing near the area with unspoiled coral reefs. In addition to this the hotel offers the Heritage Collection – 16 villas standing in water and separated from the main island. These villas are called Revives and Sanctuaries and they are different in size (200 and 600 sq. m). The villas have a direct access to the beach, 24-hour butler service and magnificent sea views. All villas are designed in accordance with the traditional Maldivian style.
The guests of this hotel will also have access to exclusive Talise Spa that offers overwater treatment rooms, a bar, 3 restaurants with wide selection of culinary options, leisure facilities and various water sports.
The second hotel in Maldives will be the 5-star Jumeirah Vittaveli. This will be a family oriented resort located in the South Male Atoll. The property is scheduled for opening in March 2011.
