Sleep Inn Hotels has decided to redesign interiors to suit weary travelers’ mood and physical state. The idea is to create a peaceful and comfortable environment that will distract guests’ attention from daily work and ensure good night rest. Bruce Haas, executive vice president of global brands, marketing and operations for Choice Hotels says the company wants travelers to have Sleep Inn on mind while searching for a night stay in the middle of the trip.
The new design strategy implies the use of warmer colors and more natural finishes, as well as special lighting techniques. Rooms will feature accent walls, exquisitely designed furniture, zebra-patterned wood finishes, soothing black-and-white photographs, etc. Bathrooms will feature modern style wall sconces, high-end freestanding vanities, exotic tiling, etc. Emphasized in the exterior design are natural stone finishes, stylish lighting, low roof profiles, etc.
The Sleep Inn brand currently operates nearly 400 hotels in United States and overseas, with room capacity approaching 30,000 rooms and with a pipeline of 121 properties. The Sleep Inn redesign can be observed in the newly-opened Sleep Inn & Suites Round Rock, Texas and Harrisburg, Penn. properties. New design solutions will be applied in every new hotel.
