The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the world’s fastest growing hotel business groups, has announced an agreement with Linstow, a Norwegian hospitality group, to manage 10 Reval hotels in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Russia.
In line with the agreement that will take effect on June 1, 2010, Rezidor will operate three hotels in Riga, Latvia, two hotels in Tallinn, Estonia, two in Vilnius, Lithuania, and one hotel in each of the following cities: Kaunas and Klaipeda, Lithuabia, and St. Petersburg, Russia. This agreement will add 2367 rooms to Rezidor’s current portfolio. According to the agreement, six Reval hotels will change their names for Radisson Blu, and four – for Park Inn.
“We are proud and happy that Listow, the owner of Reval Hotels, has chosen Rezidor as a partner”, says Kurt Ritter, Rezidor’s chairman and chief executive officer.
“Reval Hotels is the largest hospitality network in the Baltic region. The agreement will help Rezidor, Russia’s largest international hotel operator, strengthen its position on the Baltic market. We can strengthen our presence on our key markets – Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius – on which the company is now represented by upscale Radisson Blu hotels totaling 760 rooms,” Mr. Ritter says.
