Aloft hotel brand has announced its plans to expand into global tourist markets from Brussels to Bangalore. It is also intending to open few hotels in New York.
In the coming year, Aloft, style-at-a-steal brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, will open ten new hotels, half of them outside the U. S. Since its debut in June, 2008, Aloft has opened 40 hotels. It took 15 months for the brand to achieve the status of an international brand, as it now represents hotel in Beijing China - Aloft Haidian and Aloft Hotel in Abu Dhabi Emirates.
Created as an alternative to traditional style lodging facilities with limited service, Aloft offers modern style hotels featuring bright and vivid urban style design and the communal atmosphere at an affordable price.
This year, Aloft is opening three hotels in India alone. New facilities will appear in Chennai, India’s fifth largest city and second biggest software and information technology export center. Bangalore is actually India’s ‘silicon valley’, and Coimbatore is one of India’s fastest growing cities with well developed textile and engineering industry.
Aloft’s first European property will open its doors in Brussels, and there is an opening scheduled for two hotels in Brooklyn and Harlem.
