The ancient Cabot’s tower is an interesting object. It’s named for the one famous English seaman. In 1497 this seaman with his crew together was one of the first Englishman who stepped on the land of future Canada, in 1897 for the sake of this significant event it was decided to build an unusual monument. The opening of the tower was timed to the four hundredth celebration of the memorial data. The thirty-two-meter tower was built for one year only. Nowadays there is an awesome viewing area at the top of the tower, where it’s possible to enjoy the view of the city panorama.
