This city can be easily called the example of modern architecture. Brasilia was built less than 40 years ago. Famous architect Lucio Costa has contributed much into the modern look of this place. The parts of this city are divided into several zones. The plane’s “head” is the location of Aurora Palace, which is decorated by bronze sculptures. This is the residence of the president of Brazil.

The peak of the local cathedral is decorated with a huge crown that signifies people raising their hands while praying. One more advantage of this city is the quality of its roads. All roads are of a great quality and the large number of junctions and crossroads totally excludes the possibility of traffic jams. Brasilia is just 13 kilometers long and all roads start from the center of the city. Living districts are usually very calm and silent because there are almost no cars. That’s why you can leave your vehicle on the nearest parking lot and start observing local cafes and shops by feet.
