There are two museums in the historical part of the city. Both of them are surrounded by wonderful gardens. These are Syon house museum that is famous by its historical exhibitions and the house-museum of Margaret Mitchell will provide you with some very interesting facts about the history of Georgia. The Museum of Design is one of the most popular and best cultural facilities in Atlanta. The museum constantly organizes exhibitions concerning fashion, graphics, architecture and art. During the excursion in this museum visitors will be able to see how big the contribution of modern designers and planners to our modern life is. The best place for rest close to nature is Stone Mountain Park that is full of visitors either in daytime or at night. This is a perfect place for a picnic and having some rest among magnificent trees. Evening is the time for an amazing laser show that traditionally attracts many visitors.
