Backpacking tours have become increasingly popular with both locals and tourists. A tour to the mountains that lasts one to several days gives tourists many unforgettable memories and incredible landscapes. It stretches in the central part of the country and covers such famous landmarks as magnificent deep canyons and crystal clear Egirdir Lake. The Kackar trail stretches almost near the border with Georgia, in the territory of the ancient Queen Tamara’s Kingdom. Besides breathtaking mountains, there are ruins of Armenian and Georgian churches. Sultan Trail follows the route of Suleiman the Magnificent and ends in Austria. It is possible to explore this trail by bicycle and see everything in detail. Of course, there are many other interesting trails for active tourists.
