Huvafen Fushi Resort, Maldives

The couples who are looking for a suitable place for the wedding ceremony or the honey month can choose the magnificent island hotel Huvafen Fushi Resort. A location of this remarkable health resort is one of the islands of the Male Atolles, which the tenants can reach with the cutter or the watercraft. The hotel is located on the whole tiny snow-white island, surrounded by the azurous water of the Indian Ocean.
A part of the cottages and bungalows are built on the island, and the others are located on the piles above the water. One of the last innovations of the spa hotel was the spa salon Per Aquum, which was furnished under the water. It offers a wide selection of cosmetic treatments and different types of massage. All massages are completely transparent. In some magnificent over water rooms, the tenants can also enjoy the beauty of the underwater world. Part of the floor in it is made of the high-strength glass.

Top destination around Huvafen Fushi Resort - Male Atoll
There is one more historic monument near the Grand Friday Mosque – the Tomb Sultan Ibrahim. This small stone construction with the walls painted in a unique ornament was built in the 17th century. The tomb is in great condition, there was only one slight reconstruction of the foundation over the years. Presently, the tomb is considered to be one of the state’s national treasures.
Another highly recommended place to go to is Jumhooree Maidhaan park not far from the Malé’s embankment. It was built a not long time ago, it’s citizens’ top favourite place to visit. Shaded pathways, lawns where one can just walk around or have a modest picnic – a perfect choice how to wait out a day heat. By the way, recently it was allowed to plant name trees, so anyone who wants so can so to speak leave a memory of them here on the island.
Concerning other islands of the atoll, there is a mosque on Huraa Island. It’s one of the oldest in the country.
Thilafushi is a rather ambiguous island that still attracts tourists. It’s a so-called rubbish island, it belongs to industrial enterprises and dirty industries. Its landscape is like a picture of the world after a man-made disaster.
