'The Giant Pineapple' skyscraper located in Macau is one of the highest hotels in China. If you look at the skyscraper, you immediately understand its name. The hotel really reminds of a huge pineapple and is surrounded by lush palms and other tropical trees. The height of the 58-storey skyscraper is 261 meters. In addition to the hotel itself, a popular casino and 15 various restaurants and bars are located in the hotel.
The hotel was opened in 2008, a year later after the opening of the restaurants and the casino. The Grand Lisboa Casino is even recommended for those guests who have no addiction to gambling. One of the expositions in the game room contains the largest diamond in the world - Grand Lisboa, whose weight exceeds 218 karats. The name for the magnificent hotel was chosen by chance.
