Waterfalls Tamarin, Mauritius

The complex of seven waterfalls of Tamarin (also known as The Tamarind Falls or seven cascades), located on the beautiful island of Mauritius, has been a popular tourist destination for a long time. Many viewing platforms have been constructed near the natural landmark. Some of them allow you to see the entire complex. The most beautiful waterfall is considered the one that located on the top of the complex. It has a pretty easy access, despite the seeming impregnability.
The total height of the complex is about 300 meters which allows them to be among the highest waterfalls in the world. The area around the waterfalls never stands empty. Excursion groups come here every day and many tourists spend days in these spectacular places. All hiking excursions under the experienced guidance of the locals are also offered to the visitors. So that a walk to the waterfalls will be even more interesting and enriching.
