Sultan Ali Sayfuddin Mosque, Brunei

One of the most magnificent mosques of the Asian and Pacific Rim in the capital of Brunei. Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque is the king’s mosque that was built in 1958. Today it is the main Islamic symbol of the country. The height of the marble minarets is 44 meters. In order to make its cupolas was used the real gold. The mosque is a complex architectural complex with several large inner yards, luxurious gardens and fountains.

One of the main peculiarities of the mosque is the minaret, made in the Italian Renaissance. This style is quite rare used for mosque decoration.
