Jenny Lake, USA

Jenny Lake is located on the territory of Grand Teton National Park in north-west Wyoming, USA. The lake was also formed by glaciers and has located 2 000 meters above the sea level. Researchers say that this lake has formed 12 000 years ago. It is estimated to be 129 m deep and encompasses 482 ha. While the lake is one of the clearest in the world, researchers and tourists can use motor boats.

It is also a part of important landmarks in this place. The lakes’ name has a history. The first expedition worked there in 1872 with the Englishman Richard Leigh in the head. Later, this wonderful lake was named in honor of his wife Jenny.
