Jenny Lake is located on the territory of Grand Teton National Park in north-west Wyoming, USA. The lake was also formed by glaciers and has located 2 000 meters above the sea level. Researchers say that this lake has formed 12 000 years ago. It is estimated to be 129 m deep and encompasses 482 ha. While the lake is one of the clearest in the world, researchers and tourists can use motor boats.
The main route around the lake is named Jenny Lake Trail. You can see the lake not only in a daytime but also at night. Cascade Canyon has placed near the lake. It is also a part of important landmarks in this place. The lakes’ name has a history. The first expedition worked there in 1872 with the Englishman Richard Leigh in the head. Later, this wonderful lake was named in honor of his wife Jenny.
Another thing that attracts people is the variety of fish species. Several years ago there was allowed fishing. Fisher's dream to catch the trout in this lake. For that, they take a special license.
