Washington Dulles International Airport is situated 42 kilometres west of Washington. It became operational in 1962. The airport got its original name from the President John Kennedy, but in 1984 it was renamed in honour of the Secretary of State John Foster Dulles. Free shuttles take clients from the terminals to the car rental facilities. The shuttles, going to the car rental parking, correspond to the vehicle rental company, so you should look for a shuttle with the logo of the company you need. Shuttles stop on the roadside beneath signs 2F and 2C. You should go down from the baggage claim area through the arrival gates to the lower level, from where the shuttles depart.

To obtain a car, you need a voucher with the order number (in case the reservation was made in good time), an international driver's license, and a credit or debit card.
