Pittsburgh International Airport disposes of three types of parking, which are long-term, short-term and extended parking. The short-term parking garage and the long-term parking lot are connected with the Landside Terminal by an enclosed moving walkway. Free shuttle service is available in the long-term parking lot. Extended economy parking lot includes 8,000 parking spaces. However, it is not connected with the Landside Terminal by the enclosed moving walkway. Free shuttles take passengers to or from the terminal. In the terminal, the shuttles pick up passengers at the baggage claim level, at Gates 6 and 8.

There is free parking for up to an hour in the Extended economy parking lot. The airport has the parking space rental program for regular customers (Gold Key Lot).

The Hyatt Regency hotel, that lies within the territory of the airport, is connected to the Landside Terminal by a moving walkway. The hotel comprises its own guest parking, and also provides a transfer service to and from the terminals. Nature enthusiasts should definitely visit the National Aviary. Its collection includes 600 stuffed birds of different species. A favorable habitat for each species of birds has been recreated in the museum. Here, visitors can see miniature hummingbirds, rare waterfowl, and huge stuffed condors with a wingspan of about 10 ft.
Each district of Pittsburgh has its unique charm. Fans of entertainment and noisy parties are very fond of Strip District. It is quite small, numerous factories and warehouses were located here many years ago. Today, the former industrial buildings house restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. The Pittsburgh Zoo currently containing about 4,000 animals is one of the largest and most interesting the United States. It has long been converted into a multifunctional entertainment center: the famous zoo has beautiful recreation areas, playgrounds, and children's rides, there are numerous cafes and souvenir shops.
