Columbus Airport offer on-site car rental services to its passengers. The offices of the car rental companies are placed on the first floor of the passenger terminal. You should leave the baggage claim area to get to them. The car rental counters are found opposite the baggage carousels, at the exits from the terminal, along the wall. The following companies provide their services in the terminal: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise rent a car, Hertz, and National.
Rental vehicles are collected from and returned to the designated parking lot situated near the passenger terminal, west of it. To reach the parking lot, you should exit the terminal through the doors beside the car rental counters and go through the walkway.
In order to conclude a rental agreement, you will be required to present your driver's license, your passport and your credit card. The companies do not hold a security deposit for the rental time. The companies operate a full to full fuel policy and offer unlimited daily mileage to their customers. The driver should be aged 21 or over.
Columbus Airport offers two types of parking. A short-term parking lot is stationed next to the terminal; a long-term parking lot is within walking distance. The parking lots are guarded. They are open from 4.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m. Cash and non-cash payment is possible.
The number of hotels is nestled beside the airport. These are the Hyatt Place, the Comfort Suites, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, the Sleep Inn, the Extended Stay America, the La Quinta Inn & Suites, the Towne Place Suites, the DoubleTree by Hilton, and the Baymont by Wyndham. All the hotels are set within 1-2 kilometres from Columbus Airport. The hotels offer free parking to their guests.
