Valencia is perhaps the country's most "Spanish" city. Here you can get acquainted with the real hot and passionate nature of the Spaniards. Self-confident and temperamental, they are very proud of being lucky enough to have been born in such a wonderful country. Residents of Valencia are friendly, optimistic, and benevolent people. Their attitude to life is quite relaxing (sometimes too much). Everybody knows that siesta is a sacred thing for the Spaniards, and in Valencia, this fact is no exception. Treating all problems in the equally relaxed way, showing feelings and emotions is not alien to their passionate souls. And where else but in the City of Flowers (as Valencia is often called) it is not easy to meet a restrained Spaniard.
As well as to meet anyone who does not put things off and love how the most beautiful word in Valencia sounds (namely, "mañana", which translates as "tomorrow"). This is how they respond to any request requiring extra movements. Unless you are very convincing in your insistence on things to be done immediately. Another common trait of local residents is non-punctuality. And all this because of that relaxed lifestyle. However, do not take offense at the locals - it is better to learn from them this attitude and ability to appreciate every moment - this is a really useful quality.
