No less bright architectural monument of the Middle Ages is St. Martin's Bridge created in the 13th - 14th centuries. This beautiful arched bridge across the Tagus River is located near the historic district of Toledo. Viewing platforms that offer many famous sights are located nearby. The bridge was considerably reconstructed in the 16th century. It had been supplemented by two stone towers and stayed the same since.
Beautiful San Juan de Los Reyes monastery is considered one of the most spectacular architectural monuments in the city. It was built in the 15th century and is an example of a rare Isabelino style. The monastery is decorated with numerous carved towers and large windows of elongated shape. The tiled roof gives the building a special charm. From the moment of its foundation to the present time, this is a functioning monastery. Nowadays, it is located on the territory of a picturesque landscape garden.
