Among other monuments worth mentioning is Batlló House (Casa Batllo), which facade is distinguished by the unusual decoration. The most striking religious monument of the city is a beautiful church named Sagrada Familia. This church is more famous under the name Cathedral of the 20th century. The construction of the cathedral started in 1883 and lasted until 1926 - the chief manager of the project, Antonio Gaudi, died on that year. After that the construction of the cathedral was suspended, and it was resumed not so many years ago.
