Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Kazan Airport'. Address: International Airport Kazan, Kazan, Respublika Tatarstan, Russia.

In Kazan, we provide vehicles at 2 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in Russia in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Kazan, Russia: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Russia are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet and Audi A3 Convertible.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Kazan require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Russia is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Kazan and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Kazan, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Russia!

Driving Advices for Russia – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
By default, the extreme right lane is intended for public transport, but this rule is widely neglected by ordinary motorists and bus drivers. The extreme left lane is usually reserved for special service vehicles, and it may be used only for overtaking purposes, but this rule is also neglected by many vehicles.
In some cities, public transport routes can be arranged in quite a strange way, so you shouldn’t be surprised if the tram lines are located in the center of the road. In order to unload passengers, the tram is forced to stay right in the middle of the road. According to the current regulations, all cars moving after it also have to stop.
Drivers must always carry the driving license, the vehicle certificate, and the insurance. These documents must be shown to the police at first request. Police checks happen quite frequently, and absolutely every car can be stopped. If a police officer offers to take the blood alcohol content test, you certainly cannot refuse. If you do, you will be brought to the police station.

Enjoying sights of Kazan in cabriolet
In the historical center, various styles and structures peacefully coexist, both of the Tatar pattern and of the original Russian. The modern part of the city is well-equipped. It is famous for its numerous entertainment centers, parks and sports complexes. Along with Kremlin, important features of the historical appearance of Kazan are numerous religious monuments. Here is located the Qolsarif mosque - the largest mosque in Europe.

There are excellent observation platforms on the territory of the Kremlin, from which a very picturesque view of the banks of the Volga opens, especially in the place where Kazanka flows into it. Here is an island on which a monument to Russian soldiers, who died during the capture of Kazan, was built. Previously, the monument was called "The Temple of Holy Face of Christ the Savior". Bauman Street, which is secretly called "Kazansky Arbat", is located in the center of the city, among its main decorations, the Epiphany Cathedral, in which Feodor Chaliapin was christened. The bizarre bell tower of the cathedral is considered the most interesting decoration of the historic street, to which leads six bridges, which cross over the Bulaq canal. Each of the bridges not only has its own name, but also its own history. Despite the fact that the bridges are already several centuries old, they are perfectly preserved and manage their destination.
