Warsaw - Roadster/Convertible Hire

Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Warsaw - Airport'. Address: Okecie International Airport, 1A Zwirki I Wigury St., Warsaw, 00-906, Warszawa, Poland.

In Warsaw, we provide vehicles at 8 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in Poland in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Warsaw, Poland: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in Poland are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet and Audi A3 Convertible.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Warsaw require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in Poland is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Warsaw and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Warsaw, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around Poland!

Driving Advices for Poland – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
Foreign drivers, who are going to travel on the roads of Poland in a private car, should not forget to attach the sign of the country where the vehicle is registered. Otherwise, using the vehicle is considered unacceptable.
There is a serious vehicles check on the border. You should not start the travel, if your car needs repairs. Most likely, it will not pass the check. The border stations have special repair areas, and the drivers, whose cars have not passed the check, will be obliged to use their services.
In addition to the driving license, the vehicle registration certificate, and the “green card”, drivers must have a document that proves the permission to drive on the roads of Poland. This document is given to foreign drivers at the border once they pass the vehicle check. Foreign drivers are also required to have a passport.

Enjoying sights of Warsaw in cabriolet
In the very area of the Old Town is located many interesting attractions for tourists – among them are restaurants, shops, and hotels. You should definitely walk through the district so as to get a feel of the special atmosphere. Here is also located the Taras Widokowy, the highest point in the city, which allows you to look at the capital of Warsaw, the Vistula River and the surrounding area from a bird’s-eye view and enjoy unbelievably beautiful views. In order to climb to the summit, you need to overcome 130 steps on a spiral staircase. However, it should be noted that the spectacle is definitely worth it.

It is necessary to highlight another place for lovers of “sad romance” and places from which “the blood runs cold” (or “krew jest zimna”, as they would say here). We are referring to the Cmentarz Powązkowski, which was built about 200 years ago. Here you can find very beautiful tombstones, some of which can be considered real works of art. Besides this, famous people are buried here. Aside from this cemetery, there are as well two more, both of which are also located within the territory of the Cmentarz Powązkowski. They are; Cmentarz Zydowski, where the victims of the Holocaust are buried, and Cmentarz Ewangelicko – Augsburski, where those who fought for the Protestant faith found their last refuge.
