They were built in 1996 and immediately moved the Willis Tower in Chicago to second place. The towers' height is 451 meters, here you can find 88 floors. An equally popular symbol of the country is the 421-meter-high Kuala Lumpur Tower, which is just a bit shorter than the Petronas Towers. Erected at the same time as the Twin Towers, for its unique illumination it was nicknamed the “Garden of Light”. By the way, for the same reason, it is advisable to take a walk along the main streets of the city at night in order to admire the views and the "singing fountains" near the Petronas Towers.
Many travelers begin their acquaintance with the city from Kuala Lumpur Station.
