There is one more interesting place not far from the garden – the Museum of Toys. This museum exhibits a large collection of old toys, so children will see what toys their parents and grandparents used when they were young. It’s allowed to touch many toys, and some are even available for sale. The museum also offers interesting master classes, during which young visitors will learn how to make cute paper toys.
If relaxation in picturesque places is your cup of tea, you will literally fall in love with Vingio Park that looks more like a multifunctional entertainment complex. It’s a large and magnificent park with many rides and slides that work in summer. The infrastructure of Vingio Park includes a mini zoo and numerous cafes. A large botanic garden is one more advantage of this place. Open in the territory of the park, the botanic garden is home to numerous exotic plants and no less exotic animals.
Vilnius is not deprived of wonderful entertainment complexes. On a rainy day, it’s hard to find a better amusement than a visit to Akropolis. Several years ago, an excellent play area named Dream City opened in this shopping and entertainment center. The area is primarily targeted at small children. While parents shop, kids can stay there under the guidance of the experienced staff. Children will enjoy various toys, sports playgrounds, and interesting attractions. It’s also worth noting that a skating rink works all year round in Akropolis, the largest and most beautiful rink in the whole city.
