In local restaurants, guests will be offered traditional shawarma and dozens of kebab versions, and the most sumptuous festive dish is “Ghouzi” - stuffed lamb.
Poultry meat is used for the preparation of many meat dishes. A great example is "Harees" - a hearty casserole of veal and chicken. An original dish, which is quite cheap in local restaurants, is “Biryani-Dajaj” - stewed chicken with rice. The most common garnish for meat dishes is rice, and Kuwait's chefs have reached incredible heights in the art of its cooking. The choice of vegetable dishes in local restaurants is also huge, while stuffed zucchini and eggplants enjoy the greatest popularity among foreign guests.
