The entrance to the city is opened by Vrata od Pila – magnificent and monumental. They seem to show what exactly tourists are expecting to see in the city: and these are nothing short of a pleasant sights. According to some historical records, the landmark was built in 972, being a fortification in the past. The outer gates on the other hand were erected in 1537. On the way there are impressive buildings – shops, restaurants, among others – and each of these institutions fits perfectly into the “design” of the street.
